Roger Workman

Hall of Fame, Class of 1993



      Roger's bowling career has spanned over 35 years, with his current involvement including the proprietorship of Ceredo Lanes, part-time touring on the PBA Senior Tour. He has rolled six sanctioned 300 games, amassed a high average of 227, and has five 800 series. He won the Jim Shaw Match title in 1977, the West Virginia Match Games in 1977 and the Greater Louisville, Kentucky all-events champion in 1979.

      His regional exposure began in 1961 when he won the Big Three Bowling title rolling a televised 742 series in the finals. Roger has been active in his church and youth organizations bringing the bowling message to the Ceredo-Kenova area.

      A true gentleman and skilled master of the game of bowling, the WVBA is proud to enshrine his name in our Hall of Fame.
